To complete the construction of the Cathedral the stage of laying the floor is still missing, essential for us to healthily celebrate the Centennial of Madrinha Rita.
A project that took more than 15 years to build inside the Forest and involved thousands of people around the same purpose: to be the center of union and encounter for the fellowship that was gathered from all over the world, during the 50 years of the ICEFLU EXPANSION movement and that, now, finds in the Cathedral of the Queen of the Forest the sacred place to affirm the INTEGRATION of the people of Padrinho Sebastião. In addition to being the place where the festivals in Vila Céu do Mapiá (AM) are held, the ICEFLU world headquarters brings together important meetings and celebrations that emerge from the rich culture of the devotees of the Queen of the Forest.

Madrinha Rita
Matriarch of our Church and representative of Santo Daime in Brazil and worldwide, Madrinha Rita Gregório de Melo is the widow of Padrinho Sebastião Mota de Melo, patron of ICEFLU. As our spiritual guide, she encourages and blesses the entire fellowship to follow the Doctrine. A feminine force of Santo Daime, she received one of the most well-known and celebrated hymnals, “Lua Branca”, which channels the beauty of the celestial kingdom and teachings of healing, love, humility, calm, unity and surrender to Master Jesus and Saint John the Baptist. She is a lifelong member of the Superior Doctrinal Council of ICEFLU.
